Never spent more than an hour or two in Asheville before this weekend. I thought Boone was full of hippies...until this weekend.
Visit Asheville if you want to see why we need to keep groups like the Clinch Coalition from growing.
On another note, a wedding at the Biltmore is no nicer than one at your local church.

Asheville is hippie capital USA. Lots more homeless than you'd imagine too.

Saw Kiss in Ashville back in '90. Probably wasn't there long enough to mingle with the hippie locals...just the drunk headbangers.

Alot's changed since 90 thing. I've always gone for metal type shows, and there are hippies everywhere.

I love Asheville...but I don't love driving through it.
...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....
I don't mind it either, I go about 10-15 times a year and have never had a bad experience or anything that would make me dislike the place. I agree with beast, driving sucks but other than that, not bad at all.
